Want a career where you’ll always be valued and no two days are ever the same?
Health & Social care is a growing industry that offers lots of opportunities and the chance for a truly varied and rewarding career.
No matter your age, an apprenticeship is always an option and a good place to start if you’re new to Health & Social Care.
As an apprentice with Candlelight Care, you’ll gain real-world experience of the Care sector, nationally-recognised qualifications and earn a wage while you work. There are also options to work flexibly as Health & Social care isn’t just 9 to 5. Once you’ve achieved your qualification, there are plenty of opportunities for you to develop your career with us.
Anyone can apply for apprenticeships if you’re:
- over 16 years of age
- living in England
- not in full-time education.
You can also apply for an apprenticeship if you’re already working in social care and would like to progress your career.
Whether you’re just leaving school or looking for a change of career, we’d love to hear from you. Even if you’ve got no care experience or qualifications, we want to work with people who can always put others first. We can give you the training, experience and qualifications for a long and rewarding career in care, all you need is that caring attitude.
Currently, the only supplier of apprentice schemes for care staff that we are working with is Somerset Skills & Learning.
There is also an opportunity for those in the Yeovil / Sherborne area to complete a Health & Social Care apprenticeship through Yeovil College.
You can find further details about Apprenticeships here.
