Candlelight Care and the Aster Group Unveil Assistive Technology Room
Candlelight Care welcomed special guests to our Trowbridge branch office this week for the opening of the new Assistive Technology room, developed in conjunction with the Aster Group.
The two organisations have joined forces to help vulnerable people in the South West to remain safe and independent in their own homes. The Assistive Technology room will help to raise awareness of the superb and innovative range of equipment which the Aster Group can supply to create a safe environment for people wishing to remain at home, rather than be admitted into residential care.
Guests were able to watch demonstrations of the technology available, enjoy a light lunch, and talk to representatives from both organisations.
Andrew Murrison, MP for South West Wiltshire, was unable to attend the event but commented, “I am delighted to see this wonderful initiative being launched in the heart of my constituency. Helping vulnerable people to stay safely in their own homes for as long as they wish is a very worthwhile activity, and I commend the Aster Group and Candlelight Care for working together to achieve this.”
Aster Group has over 50 years’ experience in delivering Assistive Technology services to many customers. Aster can offer many solutions to make daily living tasks easier and give you and your family reassurance.
