CANDLELIGHT CARE CLIENTS ENJOY COMMUNITY CONCERT AT KING’S BRUTON SCHOOL

Clients, family members and friends of Candlelight Care in Glastonbury were among the lucky guests at a community concert and tea party at King’s Bruton School last week. The event is a regular fixture at the school and guests were treated to seven solo performances and, following a ‘Harlequin’ afternoon tea, music from The King’s Military Band. We arranged for our clients to attend as part of the ‘Candlelight Community’ initiative, which organises events and outings for clients at various times throughout the year. Tracy Weare, Registered Manager of Candlelight Care in Glastonbury, said, “I am delighted that some of our clients were able to attend this wonderful event. We are very grateful to King’s Bruton School for the invitation.”

We are proud to become the 190th organisation to adopt the Armed Forces Covenant in the South West and be among the 1,300 businesses who have already made their pledges across the UK. The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation, ensuring that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly. Businesses, from sole-trader to multinational, public bodies or charities who wish to support the Armed Forces community can sign the Covenant and publicly declare their commitments.
